Dear Irene, Many thanks for all the information. The names themselves are interesting as my grandmother, Marina's granddaughter, was called Sarah Jane and her sister was Harriet Caroline. I find this very interesting. I have ordered the LDS 1881 census so may be able to find them there when it comes. They were not on the 1851 Devon, Warwicks and Norfolk one as some Werst Dorset people are. I live in Hampshire in England but I was born and raised in Bridport. Symondsbury is a village just outside it. Many thanks for your help I will keep you posted of further developments if you are interested.
