We really wish we could find some non-American Lovelxxx males to participate in the Lovelace/Loveless DNA study. We've learned so much about our American lines, discovering that all of our tested individuals (or most of them, with the exception of a few which appear to have been adoptees or some other non-paternity event) trace back to 3 separate, apparently unrelated Lovelxxx families, one in the New England area, one in Virginia, and one in Maryland. We've been able to extrapolate our lines quite a bit and clean up some faulty assumptions that have been handed down through the years. We would love to test some non-Americans to see how they compare with the American lines. If you're interested, go to http://www.satmel.com/dna/ and take a look at what we've been up to! Greg - wish I could help but unfortunately my line doesn't have any Loveless males that I know of. My immediate branch of the family is descended from Kate Loveless (my great-grandmother). I will give it some thought though as it has just hit me that perhaps one of my cousins from my mother's side of the family might meet the bill.
