Has anyone come across info on Emma Gentilia Hammett bapt 1844 Tolpuddle, mother Mary, cannot find on 1851 census for Tolpuddle area. Also looking for Mary Legg nee?, (husband Thomas) born circ 1780 Pallington on 1851 census. 1861 at Briantspuddle, not there 1851.

Kevin - I checked the 1851 census for Dorset county and Emma Hammett did not appear anywhere on the census. Is there a chance that she died or perhaps the name was misspelt on the census.
