Hello, I am researching various Carters in Wilson & Rutherford counties starting in about 1800. My husband is descended from Solomon Carter, born 1813 in Wilson Co., whose father may or may not have been a Frederick Carter, born 1769 in VA. (The data about Frederick Carter's children that I found is from familysearch.org. I am trying to find out its origins.) I found parts of the 1820 census at Ancestry.com yesterday and noted what appears to be a Randal Carter living near Frederick and Bernard Carter in Lebanon/Wilson Co. I wasn't familiar with this Randal, and wondered if anybody else has researched him. Also, on the same page with a Nathaniel Carter in the same 1820 census, I found what looked to me like Harison Carter, though the "t" did not look crossed. It had been transcribed as "Hanson Carles." I was curious about Harison Carter because I think there was a man by that name living near Alexander and Solomon Carter in the 1830 Rutherford Co. census. So I guess my short question is: Anybody know much about Randal or Harison Carter?
