    3. Thank you for sharing the information. A researcher submitted data to familysearch.org with a list of 8-10 children for Frederick, including Solomon, Marshall, Henry, William, John, Cintha, and others. I am trying to correspond with the person who submitted this information in order to find out her source. (Personally, I think it is not proven that Solomon is not a child of Frederick.) We are following up on DNA evidence showing a relationship between Solomon and various other Carters in Tennessee in the early 1800s. Solomon moved to Logan Co. KY later in life. I did get a copy of the deed transfer for the 500 acres from John Blount to Frederick Carter. -----Original Message----- From: tnwilson-bounces@rootsweb.com [mailto:tnwilson-bounces@rootsweb.com] On Behalf Of sgrandstaff8432@charter.net Sent: Wednesday, January 09, 2008 7:39 PM To: tnwilson@rootsweb.com Cc: tnwilson-request@rootsweb.com Subject: Re: [TNWILSON] TNWILSON Digest, Vol 3, Issue 16 Solomon was not a child of Fredrick. I am descended from him and as far as my research goes he was not a sib. The sibs were Marshall, William, John J, Cintha, and Elenor. Fredrick married Nancy Jenkins in Culpepper, VA. They are buried on Shop Springs road in a family cemetery. There is a Henry Carter who is older buried there next to Fredrick. I think this could have poss been his father but have been unable to find any proof of that. Bernard is also buried there but in a different area. Some of his family has done research and have not found a link between the two. Bernard is a relative of Robert E. Lee. Some of the Carters came from a plantation in VA (I think that is the state, don't have my notes in front of me) but no record of my Fredrick has been found in their list of relatives. He is believed to poss be a cousin. I think maybe Bernard could have been a cousin too. Fredrick bought 500 acres of land in Wilson Co. then sold 1/3 to Bernard Carter, 1/3 to A! sa Andrews and kept the other 1/3 for himself. In the past I think I did a little research on Nathaniel but never could find any connection to him. I really think he was prob a different set of Carters.
