I am trying to find possible parents of Elizabeth Satterfield b. 1812 in NC and Susan Lucinda Satterfield b. 1814 in TN. Elizabeth md Elijah Burt by tradition in 1829 in Franklin Co., TN (where the Burts moved from) and Susan Lucinda md James "Jimbo" Jackson Baxter in 1829 in Jackson Co., AL (per later divorce record). I do not know if these two women are descended from the same parents. Jackson Co., AL, I believe, was established in 1819 and adjoined Cherokee Nation land which later became -among others- DeKalb, AL which is where both of these women moved with their spouses, had families, and died.
