Olivet (Mt. Juliet) Baptist Church in Wilson County, Tennessee. (Others attending this church were William M. Moore and Sarah Moore). Mt Olivet Church was founded in 1801. Elijah moved to the community called Cedar Grove, four miles north of Lebanon, Tennessee, and there he helped found the old Cedar Grove Baptist Church in 1813, and was made the first preacher there, serving until 1841. Besides this he also did other pastoral and evangelistic work. He died in 1866, during the time of the Civil War, in the home of Foster Tucker and was buried at his expense in the old Tucker graveyard." I am looking for information regarding Mt Olivet Church founded in 1801 and the old Cedar Grove Baptist church that was founded in 1813 where he was the pastor. And I am looking for information regarding the Foster Tucker graveyard. Any information is appreciated. Thank You.
