Hi all! I'm on the great quest.....and totally stonewalled in Wilson County. It seems that my 4th great grandfather, Joseph C JOHNSON, was born in Tennessee (Sumner or Wilson County) in May 1814. Married Mary Jane Moss in Lebanon, Wilson Co in Sept 1835. Mary Jane MOSS could be the daughter of John Moss and Amah Lawrence, and I believe she is. Joseph's father could be Samuel JOHNSON, who married Sarah or Sally MOSS, but this is not confirmed at this point. Samuel was born in 1779 in what was then North Carolina/Sumner Co TN/Wilson Co TN. It appears he died and was buried in Lebanon, Wilson Co. Any info on any of these would be greatly appreciated. I have much from Joseph on down. Thank you Claire Johnson Griggs
