He was married to Sarah Jones Oct 3, 1798 in Franklin Co, VA. Sarah Jones was born abt 1778 in Franklin Co, VA. She died in Wilson Co, Tn. She had several children: Adam, Mary, Sarah, George, Henry, John, Joseph, and Edith Trout. Joseph's Father's name was Joseph Trout born abt 1750 in Franklin Co, VA. Sarah's Father was David Jones of Franklin Co, VA and her mother is Sarah born abt 1754 in Franklin Co, Va.
