    1. Re: [TNWILSON] Migration question
    2. Donna Fischer
    3. Hello migration lovers, I too want to know how they traveled. It is facinating. Wish we could find a ancestor who wrote in his diary. This lady seems to know a great amount of facts. She has been doing research for over 52 years. I actually thought she was on the TNWILSON site since she knows so much about the area and its genealogy and history. But she is a part of the other group in VA that I subsribe to. Here is what she said about how our people came from Virginia to TN, my ancestor came from Prince Edward County Virginia to Wilson Co., Tennessee in apporx 1809-1810. --- pat <mountainmama42@bresnan.net> wrote: > >> They went by wagon train over the Cumberland Gap >> then on the Cumberland >> river to middle TN and departed in Wilson or Sumner >> which the river divides. >> Pat >> ----- Original Message ----- >> From: "Donna Fischer" <donna_fischer2003@yahoo.com> >> To: <vaprince@rootsweb.com> >> Sent: Friday, June 22, 2007 3:41 PM >> Subject: Re: [VAPRINCE] Donna and Roberta, I am in >> the twilight zone --- Donna Fischer <donna_fischer2003@yahoo.com> wrote: > I will get back to you the name of the person who > gave > me extensive info regarding migration from Va to Tn > > Donna > --- JENKINSRAWHIDE@aol.com wrote: > > > I descend from the lineage of William Harris > Jenkins > > and Jemima Huguley who > > came to the west Wilson Co. area from near > Fairfax, > > Virginia.
