In Wilson Co. Chancery Court Records 1842-1892 Bill of complain of William P. Bandy against John M. Hill and Nancy Murphy, administrators of William Harrison; and Robert Johnson of Illinois. William Harrison died intestate in Apr 1864. Decedent was the father of five children, one of whom was Moses who died without widow or issue, thus leaving Nancy, Helen, Louisa, and Martha. Helen Harrison married a Johnson and was the mother of the following children, to wit, Nancy, Robert, James, George, Louisa, and Armistead Johnson. Said Helen died as died her son Armistead who left no widow or issue. Said Robert Johnson is the son of said Helen Johnson. Since the said Robert has no other assets, said William B. Bandy is seeking to recover a debt from the said Johnston's portion of the estate. 3 Jul 1865. (p.51-55) In Wilson Co. Trust Deeds 1828-1868 I.J. Dodson to Aaron Murphey a lease. 23 Jan 1846. (p.434) There are several listings for Aaron Murphy in Wilson Co. Deed books, I will send those next. I am interested in Aaron and Nancy Harrison Murphy. They appear on the 1850 census, and I understand that both of them died before 1860. Does anyone have any info at all on Aaron? I am trying to tie him to my Alexander Murphy line. Alexander was in Pendleton County SC until abt. 1812, and eventually migrated to Pope County, Illinois, tarrying a while someplace in TN. Any thoughts on Aaron will be greatly appreciated.
