Drucilla James Jaco was born 8 April 1851 and died in 1914. She was the daughter of Alvy James b 2 May 1827 and Livicia Thomas James b 26 Mar 1831 (my 2nd great grandparents) of Statesville. Lisa James Delgado

Hi Lisa! I know we talked some time ago about the Philip Jaco Jr. line who married 2nd Drucilla James. I've been working with a descendant of Philip Jr and his first wife, Jane Hubbard, who died and left him with a 4 yr old daughter on the 1870 census named Martha A. Jaco. When Philip Jaco Jr married Drucilla James, they appear on the 1880 census and Lilliard Jaco was just 10 months old... Lilliard Jaco of course was the son of Drucilla and he also signed the death record of his father. Do you know where they (Philip E.J.Jr Jaco & Drucilla) married? I would guess since her parents lived in Statesville, that they married there but I've not ever looked for the marriage record. I never found any pictures of these folks and wondered if you had?
