Hi, I am searching for information on a Cora L Taylor born Oct 1874 in Township 2, TN. I believe she married someone by the last name of Cherry from TN and moving to OK. They had a son in 1892 in OK, later she has another son in Nov 1895 in TX, but Cherry died before this son was born. Later, she returns to OK. I found census where she is listed as the daughter of Samuel Dobbs Taylor born 15 Aug 1833 - 12 Mar 1925 and Merrell Hardaway 1846-1936, Samuel is the son of John Daniel Taylor 19 Dec 1801 - 2 May 1878 and Nancy Jane Williams 1804-1881, and John Daniel is the son of Caleb Taylor 1750 born in NC. I found records where Caleb receives property in Wilson, TN after the revolutionary war. Could someone please look up marriage records to see who Cora L Taylor married by the name of Cherry? METHODIST EPISCOPAL CHURCH SOUTH, FIRST DISTRICT John D. Taylor deeded one acre of land on the 1st district to the Trustees of Methodist Episcopal Church South April 10, 1873. Trustees were: Edward Smith, Benjamin B. Britt, Fountain G. TAYLOR, George W. Nokes, and Samuel D.
