It is not proven, but he was probably the Abner Hill who married Charlotte Adkinson in Johnson Co. NC Nov 2, 1792 Rev Abner Hill is shown on the 1820 census of Wilson Co with 7 sons and 4 daughters. There are several Deed records for him buying and selling land on Barton's Creek He 1st appears in the records of Wilson Co. TN in 1813 - Deed books and performing marriages. I do not know anything about Allen Hill. Do you know who performed his marriage???? What was his birth year and where did he say he was born????? Did he live until the 1880 census? If so, what did he say about his parents birthplace? Do you know who Sarah's parents were? The only children of Rev Abner Hill that I know of for sure are: 1. Lewis Eden Hill who married 1st Zuritha Rieff Sept 22, 1829 (with Rev Abner Hill as bondsman), and married 2nd Isabella Whitson in 1834. He moved to Sumner Co. TN 2. Abner P. Hill who married Amanda Rieff in 1835 and moved to Hamilton County, IL There is reason to believe that Polly Hill who married William Lasiter/Lasater Dec 22, 1828 in Wilson Co. (with Rev Abner Hill as bondsman) was a daughter of his. There is also reason to believe that Isaac Hill who married Polly Johnson January 11, 1828 (with Rev Abner Hill performing the ceremony) was a son of his.
