TN WILLS and Administrations, 1802-1861, the following Owen(s) had records in Probate in the year noted: Jesse Owen 1835 Richard Owen 1839 Robert Owen 1836 Stephen W. Owen 1844 and 1851 Thomas Owen 1840 John D. Owens 1838 You can order copies of these records from the Wilson Co. Archives in Lebanon. One of these Wills may identify his father. Go to http://www.wilsoncountytn.com/archives.htm Also, you should request a lookup of Guardian Records for Nancy and Aaron from the Archives. If the father died before they left Wilson Co., a Guardian would have been appointed and the father would have been named in those records. The Wilson Co Marriage book shows that: John Owens married Dolsey Waters March 19, 1818 and Robert Owen married Elizabeth Micks Aug 10, 1820 Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. Thanks for the reply, I will check into these. William married Elizabeth S. Lane in 1849 in Saline Co Ill. When she died, he remarried Elizabeth Hankins then her sister Octavia Hankins.
