TN shows that Wilson Waters owned 10 Slaves. ------------- The 1860 Slave Schedule of Wilson Co. shows that Wilson L. Walters (Waters) owned 4 Slaves - males ages 55 and 30, and females ages 35 and 10. ----------- The book, "Marriages of Wilson Co. TN, 1802-1850", by Edythe Rucker Whitley shows: Wilson Waters was married to Christiany G. Bryan Dec 14, 1844 by Baptist Minister H. W. Pickett. ------------ >From the book, "People of Wilson Co. TN, 1800-1899", by Thomas Partlow 1. Wilson Waters was the Executor of the Will of Ezekiel Bass (wife Sarah), which was recorded Dec 19, 1869. 2. From the newspaper the Lebanon Democrat, January 2, 1890 Miss Bettie Stokes married GEORGE WATERS, formerly of this county, but now a prominent businessman of Nashville. He is a member of the firm of W. L. WATERS & SON and is manager of their immense foundry and machine shops at Nashville. ------------ Did you know that there was a Wilson T. Waters, born abt 1794 in VA, who was also in Wilson Co. TN on the 1850 and 1860 census??????????? According to the Marriage Book: 1. Wilson T. Waters was married to Polly Lawrence Aug 7, 1816 by Rev. Thomas Durham with John A. Taylor as bondsman. 2. Wilson T. Waters was the bondsman Nov 6, 1815 for the marriage of Ann Waters to Richard Cartwright. Would you like to see more info about Wilson T. Waters?????? Was he the father of Wilson L. Waters????????
