    3. Alexander Thorn married Elizabeth Harrington by Abner Hill, M. G. Samuel Conger Bondsman. Bond July 4 , 1821 and married on July 7, 1821. Alexander was not listed as a son of Thomas Thorn who settled Rutherford/Wilson County line early 1800's in his will. Could Alexander be a grandson of Thomas? Does anyone know who Alexander and Elizabeth Harrington were? They lived in Rutherford County. Frances

    3. FYI - The Rev Abner Hill was my 4th great grandfather and he was a Baptist minister who lived on Barton Creek. Your Alexander and Elizabeth were probably members of his church. What were the names of Thomas Thorn's sons???????????? Did some lookups in some Wilson and Rutherford Co. TN genealogy books I have. Some tidbits of info you may find helpful in some way. The Harrington family was often connected to the Rev Abner Hill. I'll bet the following Harringtons were related to your Elizabeth. >From the book, "Marriages of Wilson Co. TN, 1802-1850", by Edythe Rucker Whitley 1. Charles Harrington was married to Nicey Johnson Feb 8, 1816, by Rev Abner Hill with William Sypert bondsman. 2. Thomas Harrington was the bondsman for the marriage performed by Rev Abner Hill for Solomon Gibson and Tempa Modglin Dec 8, 1816. 3. Hidgon Harrington was the bondsman for the marriage performed by Rev. Abner Hill for William Modglin and Neely Dukes Nov 27, 1816. 4. Rev Abner Hill married Whitmell Harrington to Syrena Brown March 12, 1822 with Benton Modglin as bondsman. 5. Phil W. Harrington was the bondsman when Rev Abner Hill married his son Isaac Hill to Polly Johnson January 16, 1828. And FYI Alexander and Elizabeth's bondsman Samuel Conger was married to Elizabeth Kennedy April 25, 1822 by Rev Abner Hill with John Conger as bondsman. ------------------------- >From the book, "Index to WILSON Co.
