The following Wadkins/Watkins names appear in this book for the years 1802 to 1830: 1. Frederick Watkins was the bondsman Aug 4, 1815 for the marriage of J. P. Winston to Elizabeth Allen Aug 6, 1815, performed by Isaac Winston, Justice of the Peace 2. FYI - the bondsman for the marriage of Richard Watkins and Catherine Jones was Sam'l Wright. 3. Sally Watkins was married to Peter Harville May 14, 1818 by William Lawrence, JP. Bondsman May 11, 1818 was Turner M. Lawrence. 4. Solomon Watkins was married to Nancy Kirkpatrick March 4, 1823 by Rev Joshua Woollen. (Joshua Woollen was a minister of the CARMEL FREE WILL BAPTIST CHURCH) 5. FYI - the bondsman for the marriage of Martin Wadkins and Sally Hopkins was Obediah Rich. 6. Joel Watkins was the bondsman July 5, 1825, for the marriage of William Taylor to Polly Brown July 7, 1825 performed by John W. Peyton, Justice of the Peace (and my direct ancestor) 7. George W.
