When asked she said she was from Haywood County, which has a county seat of Brownsville. And her elderly father has written all the records of the names from Trinity Cemetery. She also said that Tina Turner's family was from this area and her original name was not Tina Turner, but that Tina's grandfather drove her grandfather to the church to get married. Isn't that a story. It is so interesting to find that so many persons in Illinois have originated from Tennessee.
