Hi all: Can anyone help Buck with his question? The only place I have Amey Gilliam Harris is on a copy I have of the VAHARRIS, Gedcom. There are no parents listed. Isham Hearne in Montgomery Co NC 6/18/1811, d. 1869 in Montezuma TN., and is buried in the Hearne Chapel Cemetery in Chester Co TN. This much I have good documentation on. Until recently she was a brick wall, until I rec'd a response from a query posted on the Hearne family forum which stated she was the daughter of James Harris and Priscilla Gilliam. James was s/o Isham & Martha Green, Isham was son of Weston "West" Harris & Mary Turner, d/o Joseph Turner & Birchet Lundy. In your posting on the genforum for the Harris family I did not find Amey listed as one of the children of James. Do you have any information which would clear up the confusion in my mind?
