Hi all. Once again, I'm posting about my Wilson County ancestors. I just can't seem to find anything on them but maybe I'll make a connection this time. Bert Smith (full name thought to be Bertram/Burtram Trammel Smith but that's not certain) was born in Lebanon in April 1835. I have no idea who his parents were. He married Sarah Elizabeth 'Betty'Fakes (the funeral record for a son shows her maiden name to be Betty Brown-her mother had remarried to a Brown), born February 1844 in Kentucky, in March of 1866. Bert and Betty had the following children: Alexon Monroe "Lex"-born in Lebanon November 1879, married to Faye Allen Dunn on Jan 1904 in Lebanon, moved to Missouri and stayed there, dying in January 1963. William B "Billy"- born June 1872, nothing more known about him James Thomas "Jim"-born May 1868, nothing more known about him Laura Elizabeth- born June 1875, married ? Hankins, died August 1941 Sarah F "Sallie"-born June 1870, died May 1901 Nancy Lou Ella-born December 1866-never married If anyone knows about these people, I'd love to hear from you!
