Is anyone familiar with Joshua Pemberton b. abt. 1810 in TN who married Millie Dudley b. abt. 1817. They were married during the 1830s in Wilson County. The 1850 census there shows my gg grandfather, James F. Pemberton, as living in their household. Does anyone know if he was actually their son? Does anyone have Joshua and Millie's marriage information. Information of their parents? Joshua moved his family to southern Illinois shortly after the 1850 census was taken. Many thanks. Linda

Linda, In the book, Early Marriages of East TN, it states that Joshua Pemberton married Milly Dudley 14 June 1836 Wilson County. There are quite a few Pemberton marriages in Wilson Co from 1818 to 1860 listed in this book. Let me know if you need anymore. Would be happy to look them up. I do not research Pemberton.
