KING are sons of JOHN KING and MARY HANNAH TARVER. According to a biography published about the Rev. John King, JOHN KING was the son of this Rev. John King who came from England and was an early Methodist minister. MARY HANNAH TARVER was the daughter of BENJAMIN TARVER and his wife, HANNAH SMITH.
