I am searching for info on the following BATEY's. James S. BATEY born 3-26-1834/1835 he married Mary E. HUTCHINS and also Nancy BIVENS. This family was in the Wilson/Cannon/Rutherford County area of TN. I have some military data on James BATEY. They had at least 2 known children: 1.John D. BATEY born 7-28-1869 in Wilson county TN who married Martha Jane MORRIS 12-28-1897. John died 3-4-1945 near Lascassas TN. 2. Mary Elizabeth BATEY of which nothing is known. Any info on this line would be much appreciated as I would like to find the parents of James S. BATEY and take the line further back.
