I am looking for information about a William Winters who is found on p 106 of the 1830 census of Wilson Co. Is he the same Wm Winters who is found in 1820 in Davidson Co? Is the Martha Winters who is found on pg 255 of the 1840 census of Wilson Co his widow? Where could I look for a marriage certificate on William Winters and Martha? I have reason to believe that this William Winters could possibly be the father of my ancestor, Catherine Winters (b abt 1804 TN) who married Toliver Ferguson in Rutherford co in 1824 and lived all of her life in Rutherford/Wilson/Davidson Co, TN.
