His parents were Jacob and Elizabeth Cross Jennings. He had a brother Joel, who marrried Centhia Gibson. I am trying to fin where they were during the Civil War. They had a son, William Hezekiah, Wh, who married Lockey Odom in 1849 in Cannon County. We believe they lived in Tennessee, then Kentucky, and them moved to Texas in between 1870 and 1880.
