Robert ventured out into Wilson Co., TN in the early 1800's. The tax records show he received land from Mary Jackson- possibly his widowed mother- in Dinwiddie Co., VA. The old Mary Jackson was listed on the 1782 tax. Other Jacksons that seem to be related were: 1) John Jackson (d 1799 Dinwiddie Co., VA)- he married Susannah (_______). 2) Joel Jackson (d 1812/3 Dinwiddie Co., VA)- he married Mary (_______). 3) William Jackson of Dinwiddie Co., VA. 4) James Jackson of Dinwiddie Co., VA. They all appear on tax records of the county. After Robert Jackson's death, his widow Sarah remarried a Mr. James Lethe; who was also from Dinwiddie Co., Virginia. Any help on Robert Jackson's parentage and or siblings much appreciated. Jackson. 7) Jesse Jackson, married Nancy Bonner on 11 Jun 1823 in Wilson Co., TN. 8) Elizabeth Jackson, married Mr. Jackson. 9) Sarah "Sally" Jackson (11 Mar 1800 Dinwiddie Co., VA-29 Dec 1853 Muhlenberg Co., KY, buried at Jackson Cemetery), married Daniel Jackson on 24 Sep 1817 in Wilson Co., TN. Daniel (ca 1794 VA (possibly Dinwiddie Co.)-17 Mar 1861 Muhlenberg Co., KY, buried at Jackson Cem. also).****this is my line 10) Mark Jackson (ca 1797 Dinwiddie Co., VA-aft 1850 TN), married Mary M.
