I am interested in the migration from Albemarle Co Va to Wilson County around 1800-1815 time frame. Anyone else have family who took this journey I would like to hear about it. Also, it seems many of them lived in North Carolina for a period of time before going on to Wilson Co. Unless they were in Tenn before it was formed from North Carolina explaining why they were in the same location but listed in NC. I have Thomas and Ann Carr with a group of at least 20 people about 1806-1807. With 7 sons and several daughters. Some names that may have been with them Carr, Trovillion, Sanders, Maybe Gentry, Riddle, Compton, Waller, Breedlove, ........ They moved to the area in Wilson Co. on the River at Belotes Ferry. Northwest of Lebanon Tn. Anyone with stories about other migration I would like to hear from you. Jim Carr
