I am looking for information on George W. Gray and his family. They were in Wilson Co. TN. in 1860. The family was in Rutherford Co. TN. in 1870. George W. Gray was married to Rachel???? I do not know what her maiden name was. His middle name is believed to be Washington. George was 48 and his wife Rachel was 35 in the 1870 Rutherford Co. TN. Census. George and Rachel are both listed as born in TN. Children: Ages in the 1870 Census. All are listed as born in TN. Margaret 17 Jacob C. 15 David Filmore 13 Mary A, 11 (Believe to be Armetta or Annetta???) Georgia??? Ann. 9 J.H. 6 Sarah E. 3 Wm T. 1 Rachel is listed as a widow with some of the children in Wilson Co. TN. in the 1880 Census. Perhaps this fits into you Gray Family Line somewhere or perhaps you have come across someone researching their Gray Line that might help me. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
