I don't know what this date is associated with. Also, I have Frances Allen marrying Daniel Hoffer instead of David Hoffer. Don't know where the difference comes from I would very much be interested in the source of the marriage citation of Shepherdstown, WV on 8 May 1782. I don't have this reference in my notes. Also, do you have any information about Dr. George Tribble Allen, who apparently moved to Nacogdoches, TX (you mention that walker Montecue Allen passed under the guardianship of his uncle in 1834).
