Here is my situation. My Joseph L. Wilson was born in NC in 1808. In 1827 he was married. His first daughter, Rebecca, was born 1828 NC.. His second daughter, Mahala was born 1834 NC.. His third child, a son was born 1835 NC.. Then comes his fourth child, a daughter Tempy was born 1839 TN.. By 1840 they all had removed to Missouri. Now, my question. Tempy the fourth child shown born in TN. 1839 and the third child Tilman born 1835. Could possibly the third and fourth children have been born in the same home and only shown born in two differerant states due to the change in the borders? They appear to have been born in Morganton, Burke Co. NC... Could this town between 1835 and 1839 been bordered out of NC. and become part of TN. ? Thanks much, Bob Wilson, Michigan
