(Deed Book T, p.528). In Wilson County Tenn. Deed Books C-M 1793-1829 p.110 Whereas William Swift, late of the County of Caswell in the State of North Carolina decreed in his last will and testament that his daughter Susanna, formerly Susanna Harris, first wife and afterwards the widow of Tyre Harris and now the wife of Arthur Dew of Wilson County amongst his other children to receive a small legacy. It is not to be received until after the death of his widow, Frances Swift whom it is believed is now living in the County of Caswell. Said Arthur Dew and Susanna his wife have this day sold to Frances P. Harris, daughter of the said Susanna her rights to the said dower. 2 May 1818. (Deed Book G, p.106).
