Surnames: Brown, Young, Parham Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/UiB.2ACI/1362 Message Board Post: In 1850, Neely Brown(e) is listed as living in the 4th District of Davidson County with his wife, the former Francis Ann Young, and their four kids. In 1860, Neely Brown is in the 4th District of Wilson County with his second wife, Harriett Parham Brown, his first four kids and four more. Could it be possible that he stayed in the same place and the county lines were redrawn, or is it just a coincidence that he lived in the 4th Districts of two different counties? In 1870, N.S. Brown is in Sumner County, TN. Again, did he move or did the county name change? Of course, it's possible he moved every time the rent came due, but then again... Can anyone clarify this for me?
