Looking over the Garretts on the list I was interested in a Garrett who was in Franklin Co Illinois very early and was the owner of "Garretts Tavern" circa 1820-1850. It was near the old Shawnee/Kaskaskia trail that many of our Wilson County relatives used to move to Southern Illinois in that time frame. Anyone know of a connection? Jim
