Hello, All! If someone's property was inventoried and sold after their death, does that mean a) they left no will b) they left a will c) neither Thanks for any advice! Cathy Reese researching Reese, Creswell/Criswell, Easley, Lane in Wilson County
When a person died intestate (without a will) an administrator was appointed to take care of the estate settlement. When there was a will an executor and/or executrix were named in the will. The estate papers will show which is taking care of the estate.
