    3. I thought the following might be of interest to you if you had not seen them before. Thomas E. Partlow's WILSON COUNTY, TENNESSEE, CHANCERY COURT RECORDS 1842-1892, has the following entries for Stone: Bill of complaint of M. Stone of Davidson County; Charle Stone, John Borum and wife Charlotta, William Martin, Martha Martin, Mary Jane Martin, James Johnson and wife Ida, B. Cox, J. B. Baird and brothers against Thomas Stone and Patrick Stone of Texas; james Borum and Susan Borum of Wilson County; Bird Joplin, Martha Joplin, Sally Joplin, and (?) Joplin of Illinois. Isaac Stone died intestate in 1873, leaving a widow who has since died and the following heirs, to wit, M. Charles, Thomas Patrick, and Charlotta Borum, children of the intestate; William Martin, Mary Jane Martin, Ida Johnson, formerly Ida Martin, and Susan Blrum, formerly Susan Martin, the latter a minor who are the childred of a deceased daughter. Bird Joplin, Martha Joplin, Sally Joplin, and other children whose names are not known, the heirs of a deceased daughter. 16 April 1872 (Chancery Book 1872-1873, Pp. 67-70) Bill of complaint of Thomas Stone and wife Susan E. of Kentucky in behalf of themselves and the other legatees of John Scobey against Robert C. Scobey. Susan E. is a daughter of the said John Scobey. Other legatees listed: Sallie E. Hancock, J. M. Scobey, Sarah N. Scobey, William Scobey, Jane _______, B. D. Scobey of St. Clair, Missouri, Caleb Barr and wife Martha of Macon County, Missouri, and W. H. Scobey of St. Clair. Charlotte Borum states that she a sister of Thomas Stone. 3 December 1870 (Chancery Book I, Pp. 308-346) There are also three entries as follows: M. Stone versus Bird Joplin (In June and December of 1872) No further information is included in these entries. These Chancery Court Books are now at the Archives in Nashville, and probably are now available for copy from microfilm. Hope this is helpful. They are not my family.
