Nancy, Do you have anything on a Ranson T. Borum (1842-1932) Ranson served in the Co. H. 38 Tenn Inf. C.S.A. He married Amanda Moore. They are buried at Good Hope Cemetery in Denton Co., Texas. One of the first ministers of the church at Good Hope was an R. R. or R. L. Borum and I am wondering if this is possibly Ranson's brother. I'm not sure, but believe that Ranson's mother might be Nancy Tucker. The Borum family plot is marked off and large enough for up to 10 graves, but only 3 are marked. Ranson, Amanda, and Amanda's nephew, William "Boss" Moore. The Rev. Borum is believed to also be buried at Good Hope Cemetery, so I am in belief that if the Rev. Borum is a member of this family, he is buried there also. Rev. Borum died in 1938. Ranson was 90 when he died, so I and inclined to believe that the Rev. Borum was possibly a brother.
