I've been searching for the father of Martha WINSTON who lived in Wilson Co. and was married to George HUDDLESTON before coming to TN from Buckingham Co. VA. around 1810. Martha's mother was Sarah Ann Winston who died ca 1840. Martha preceded her mother in death and her heirs are named in her mother's will.(roll 194 microfilm Wilson Co. TN). But who is her father? I thought it was John Winston but can find no records on him. Some say it was Anthony Winston. Was there an Anthony John Winston married to a Sarah Ann with a daughter b. ca 1765 in Buckingham Co.
