Hi there. Can someone possibly look up two bits of marriage info for me, please? There is a James Hatcher in Wilson County on the 1850 census. It shows James, his wife Lucy, and the following children: William M, 6, Berry R, 3, Josiah R, 2, all born in TN. I am curious what Lucy's maiden name is. I suspect she is Lucy Ann Ellis but can someone check that for me and let me know when they married? Also, Burtrane/Burtrand Smith is in the household with the Hatchers. I am pretty sure this is my Bert/Burt Smith. The family's Bible says his name is Burtram T Smith but I was told his marriage record says Bertrand Smith. I have some marriage info for him but no witnesses or bondsman. Could someone look to see who the witnesses/bm were for Bertrand Smith who married Sarah Elizabeth Fakes (surname could also be Brown). Sarah often went by Betty Brown so I'm not sure just what name she might have used. According to the family's bible, Bert and Betty married March 6th 1866.
