I've been looking for a connection to the Crutchfield's as that name has been carried in my family for quite a few generations. My Great Great Grandfather was William Thomas Crutchfield Williams said to have been born in VA in 1836 but really date unknown. Connection [if any by blood] to Crutchfield's is unknown. Rumored to be a Mid-Wife? I've just found two people who have WTC Williams as a common ancestor so maybe I'm on a track. I don't have any information on the name you seek at this time.
