My family is the Dillard side. Somewhere I have acquired the info that James C. McIntyre was married to Nancy Ward. As best as I can figure out there were three sons, John, William, and James. They married sisters. Eudora Dillard married John, Nancy Dillard m. William Thomas, and Ellen Dillard married James. They were married 4 Aug 1873. All three girls were the children of John Dillard and Sallie Jacobs. Ellen was born in Dec. 1857. The families lived off of the Sparta Pike (Highway 70) in a community that at one time was known as either Dillardtown or Dillardsville. I have corresponded with several McIntyre researchers so you will probably find some additional info from some of them. Anne Sloan
