My mother's maiden name is Bass and she was born in Watertown, Tn. I know we still have relatives there, but haven't seen them in years. We use to go up there when I was little to visit. I remember having big family reunions, too. My grandmother was an Oakley before she married Orence Albert. My mothers parents moved to Nashville I believe in the 1940's. I still live in Nashville. Anna Nettles has sent me info about the Bass in Watertown and have that somewhere. My research papers need to be filed into folders. And I need to buy a genealogy program for my Imac computer.
