Statesville is my hometown, not waht it once was,,,,,,,, No Post office, No "DOWNTOWN AREA" (When I lived there, we had general store with everything in it, encluding post office and few other little places and it was buzzing on Saturday. You can go to google.com and put in Wilson County Archives and get address and telephone number...... I understand you can find out lots of theng there........ Yes many Cementeries,,,,,,,,,, Go to first page of US GEN WEB or the one for TN GEN WEB,,,,,,,,,, on one of these you will find the cementeries listed with names.......... Don't get discouraged if your ancester is not there,,,,,,,,, perhaps they only had stone that weather has taken it's toll on........ Most of the Cmenterise are there tho,,,,,,,,, At least the one folks still can get to.......... The Wilson county people did a wonderful job on this......... Do you know what district they lived in............ I can do it,,,,,,,,, but there are wonderful people on this list that would do a census look up for you,,,,,,, if you ask.
