I am a Statesville Thomas descendant. My great-great grandmother was Livicie THOMAS (James) b1831 d1908. She was married to Alvy JAMES b1827 d1896 (son of Buchanan JAMES.) Her line goes through Jacob THOMAS b1750-1760 in Maryland and Amy JEWELLc1769 (He/they came from Maryland to Wilson Co.,TN) James THOMAS b1792 and Nancy McMINNb1792 Livicie THOMAS b1831 and Alvy JAMES b1827 In my copy of Larry James' book- The Jewell and Thomas Families of Frederick County, Maryland and Wilson County, Tennessee 1987, rev1991, I do see a possible connection for Mary, Amber, and Jim: Jacob THOMAS and Amy JEWELL THOMAS' son Henry THOMAS and his wife Sarah McKEE had the following children: Ambrose Jay James Lafayette Eliza Amanda Sarah Mary b 21 January 1832 John Shaul Paralee Emma Elena Sarah McKEE's father's name was Ambrose McKEE Lisa James Delgado

Lisa; I have been told there are two Thomas lines in Wilson Co., and one comes from the same area in NC as our Wilsons. Some of the Grier family m. into our Wilson family after they and some of the Thomas family moved to Gibson Co. One of the girls from the Thomas family also married into our Wilson family in Gibson Co. Is this the same Thomas family who married into the Griers in Wilson Co?
