But, now I need help from Bond descendants or ones with info on "James Bond(s)". COULD he have been previously married to Nancy Mathews, and child Nancy (Bond)-Phillips was named after (her mother?) if Nancy Mathews? I also noticed the name "Absala" Bond on one of the posts. The name Absilly (sic) was common among the Mathews connections in Gates, NC. Wasn't this an unusual first name? Thanks again, Betty
