I'm not sure if any of these are the Samuel Scott I'm looking for or not. My Samuel's grandfather was James Scott of Amelia Co. VA who died in 1761; his father George Scott (also of Amelia Co.) died in 1815, so maybe the entry from Nov 1815 in Deed Book G is him. He purchased land in 1805 that was in both counties. The neighbors were Capt. Anthony Winston, John Craven, and Francis Sanders (Saunders?), but I have not found any other mention of the portion of the property that was in Wilson County. Are Spring Creek or Falling Creek anywhere near the Davidson County line? Thanks for your help!
