Surnames: SCOTT Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/UiB.2ACI/1267.7 Message Board Post: I would appreciate anything you may be able to find about Samuel Scott who owned 320 acres in Davidson and Wilson Counties (on Scotts Hollow Branch of Stoners Creek, on both sides of the county line). I don't think he's the same Samuel Scott who had land further east, in south/central Wilson Co. He bought the land in 1806 (registered in Davidson Co.), but I can't find any records regarding the Wilson Co. portion of the land. He sold the rest of the property he owned in Davidson Co. in the late 1820s and moved to Shelby County TN.
