I am descended from Bannister Young, who moved from Franklin County, North Carolina to Wilson County, Tennessee early in the 19th Century. I believe that William Young and Hannah Bridges fit into his larger family in some way. My Bannister was a son of James Young of Franklin County. In his will, James Young was the father of Bannister Young (who married Lavina Privitt and moved to Wilson County); Elizabeth Young who married Augustine Hargrove; Baxter Young; Abigail Young, wife of Anderson Williams; Benjamin Young; Isham Young; Thomas Young, whose wife was named Betsy; Anney Young, wife of Littleton Medlin; Beverly Young, whose wife was Patsy; and Joseph Young. Some of these Young siblings moved to Wilson County. There was an uncle of Bannister Young named Stephen Young who also moved to Wilson County.
