Hi, Does someone know where the name Araminta came from? Or what it means? Is it an Indian name? I hope knowing where it came from or what it means will give me a hint as to where to look for her. My GG grandparents were Spencer W. TALLEY and Araminta EDDINGS. There were 2 children (William and Gideon) in the Spencer W. TALLEY household in Wilson Co., TN in the 1850 U.S. census.
