1. Etta T. Rushing 1862-1923 2. W. A. Rushing 3-18-1840 to 9-21-1926 3. N. J. Rushing 12-29-1841 to 2-22-1910 4. W. E. Rushing 1877-1901 5. Eula Rushing 1898-1899 The above people are buried in Bryan Cemetary in Wilson County, TN. The Etta T. Rushing mentioned above is my GG Aunt and her real name was Henrietta Trippe/Tripp Rushing. Her mother was Fredonia Elizabeth Riggan of Wilson County and her father was Sam or Samuel Trippe/Tripp believed to be from either Arkansas, Georgia or Alabama. Her brother was Tilmon Valrus Trippe/Tripp (my GG grandfather who married Cora Ann Pulley) who also lived in Wilson County,TN. Etta also known as Etter is rumoured to have been a school teacher. I know she attended the Mt. Olivet Baptist Church in Leeville, TN and married late in life. Both Etta and Tilmon were born in Arkansas. My family lost information on her and I was told she married a Russian by one of my Great Aunts who was born after she died. Another Riggan cousin found Etta for me. I am not sure which Rushing Etta was married to and I am guessing it was one of the ones buried in this cemetary. Trippe or Tripp (my mother's maiden name --sh! e too along with me are Wilson Cou nty natives) has been my brick walll for four years straight. I have Sam's civil war confederacy papers from Arkansas but I can't find him anymore before 1861. He is dead by 1870 and his family returned to Wilson County by 1870. I am hoping finding out about Etta might give me some clues on her father Sam Trippe/Tripp. Also, I would like to know what happened to Etta and if any pictures exist, etc Thanks Cynthia Cline, Houston, Texas Wilson County surnames I am researching: TRIPPE/TRIPP; STEWART/STEWARD; WEBBER/WEBER; PULLEY; RIGGAN; TARVER
